End of an era
A sad day indeed. I actually did a Chicago Comedy Fest there many years ago. The Village was the cheapest of the cheap theatres in Chicago, but it's sticky floors had a place in my heart. Goodbye, old friend. It's sister theatre, the Village North, remains.
